Based in rural Texas, Willett Tactical Finishes - a Cerakote Certified Applicator - applies Cerakote camo finishes to AR builder sets. Each set is painstakingly applied by hand. Every dot, every splotch, every single piece of the camo. As such, no two patterns will be identical. Each one is a one-off custom finish.
Our Story
Owners and brothers John and Jim Willett first found their passion for customizing firearms well over a decade ago. It started with a basic rail install on an AR-15. Next came a tactical light, then the optic. Then, Jim wanted to try a simple trigger swap. That's when the sickness hit.
Before long, the brothers were doing full builds from stripped receivers. Yet, there was a problem - the rifles were all the mundane and generic black or FDE. This is where John's art background kicked into full gear.
He started with rattle can paint but wasn't satisfied with how easily the finish scratched and peeled. So, he started looking into alternatives. After weeks of research, the brothers homed in on Cerakote.
Thanks to John's artistry, he was replicating the most well-known and sought after camos in the outdoors world to perfection. Not satisfied with just the normal camos, both brothers started experimenting with their own take on camo applied to their own rifles. With the guidance of nature, the possibilities are limitless.
